Wah Box

Wah Box - This is simply the innards from a music box (tune unknown), as well as the convex base it was attached to -- which is also the key for winding it up. The base also acts as a primitive amplifier: if you take it off, the sound level drops considerably. Another cool feature of this gadget is if you wobble it on a flat surface, such as a table, while it's playing, you can create wah effects. Excellent for sampling.
